Babu desperate to win elections !

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu seems to be unstoppable of announcing more more sops. He has revised the Annadatha Sukheebhava proposal to provide financial assistance for the farmers. Earlier he has announced Rs. 4000 financial aid the input subsidy for farmers having agriculture land below 5 years. CM has revised and announced additional amount of Rs 5000. This means, Rs 6000 by Modi government and Rs. 9000 by Babu government will be given to farmers. 

Even before presenting the interim budget, Babu government has announced several sops. Then the budget was carefully designed to be people friendly and welfare oriented. But that was not enough. CM also took a few more welfare oriented in Cabinet meeting two days ago. Again on Saturday he has announced additional input subsidy for farmers. Interestingly, he is taking help of a man whom he hates a lot, none other than PM Narendra Modi, by adding the Kisan Samman Yojana amount to Annadatha Sukheebhava. 

After a few surveys predicted a landslide victory for YCP in AP, Babu is more cautious about poll strategy. Even the MLCs are going to enter the Assembly election fray. Lokesh and other MLCs are going to resign to the Council and contest in the coming elections, TDP sources said. An MP and an MLA have resigned to TDP and joined the YCP recently. Both of the belong to Kapu community. This community is believed to be strong supporter of TDP in the last elections. The Kapu reservation matter has led to criticism against Babu. There are several factors which may embarrass the CM. So he wants to win the elections and keeping no stone un turned for this. The sop announcing saga may continue till the election schedule is announced, TDP sources said.
