YS Jaganmohan Reddy and his cabinet of ministers met today to implement
all the election promises made by YSRCP. The first cabinet meeting went
on for over six hours and some crucial decisions have been taken. The
cabinet approved 27% IR for the employees and they will be implemented
from July this year. This would make an additional burden of Rs 9000
crores for the state.
APSRTC will soon be merged with the government and YS Jagan wanted a special committee to follow the process of merging. An in-depth analysis would be conducted and the committee will submit a detailed report after which the merger will happen. YS Jagan already announced a hike in pensions. Several other topics came in for discussion and YS Jagan along with his cabinet approved most of the promises.
