YSRCP Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy took a strict stand to fulfill all the
promises he made before the elections. He first signed all the files and
took sensational decisions. Today during the Assembly sessions, AP
Assembly passed one more resolution about the Special Status for Andhra
Pradesh. YS Jagan said that his government would mount pressure on the
Centre to grant Special Status at any cost.
YS Jagan clarified that they are against Special Package for the state and their motto is to get Special Status. "Nothing short of Special Status is acceptable," said YS Jagan. He said that he wishes to recover AP at the earliest from all the damages that happened in the past five years. YS Jagan reminded the Centre is yet to fulfill all the promises made after the bifurcation of the state. He said that the revenue deficit went up to Rs 65,000 crores.
